*pretending that the Colorado Avalanche is the only team in the NHL and I am the sole voter in the PHWA.
Kyle Quincey
This was a hard selection, mostly because the Avs defensive corps were easily the worst aspect of the team. I actually feel like Scott Hannan was the team's best defenseman, but the winner of the Norris has to have some offensive game. So, why Quincey? Yes, Liles was easily the team's best offensive defenseman, but his play in his own zone was just too bad to get the nod. Really, Quincey was the only player that was effective in both zones.
