Plain and simple - Dallas dominated this game: the shots were 51 to 22.  However three big keys allowed the Avs to win the game 1) The Avs PP scored two goals and 2) Dallas goaltenders gave up two incredibly soft goals - Turco on Stewey’s wraparound and Lehtonen on Stasnty’s second and 3) Andy was incredible.
  • The Avs suddenly have a consistently good power play because Mueller can actually play the point and because Liles hasn't been getting scratched.
  • Hejduk was very good, especially early.  The first two goals were all him - the Avs would have been in a 3 goal hole halfway through the game if it wasn’t for him.
  • Quincey continues to play at a below average level.  “@BobInBoulder Skoula back for Avs. Wearing 27. Less offensive upside.”
  • In case you were wondering, they hate Skoula in Minnesota as much as we do.  Funny enough though, (former Wild coach and current Devils coach) Jacques Lemaire loves him.
  • Modano with 8 min of ice time.  It was probably time to hang them up after they took away your “C” and gave it to Morrow, Mike - its really time to hang them up now.
  • Hope Yelle and McLeod are ok.
Next game: Tuesday, at St Louis, 6PM MST.
