It's been a strange roadtrip. The Avs have gone 2-1-1 and their best effort came in the one regulation loss at Pittsburgh.
- Well, the Avs almost a way to blow another 2 goal lead in the 3rd. Disallowed goals tend to even themselves out, usually its not in the very next game, but I guess that’s what happened here.
- Budaj played really well again. I’m starting to think Budaj is a lot like Theo was in that they are both either really on or really off. Thank goodness Budaj is hot while Andy is out.
- The difference in the game was Mason’s bad goal - Stewart’s goal couldn’t have come at a worse time for Columbus.
- As noted by the Altitude crew, Wolski played his butt off in this one.
- Stasnty and Wolski are the Avs best players - they have broken away from the pack with 31 and 27 point respectively. The knock on Wolski has always been inconsistency - he still isn't quite showing up every single night, but now he's showing up more often that not, which is a big step in the right direction.
