Here you go. From the lobby of the Pepsi Center at Game 41...
The screened on numbers are really bad, but the lettering is even worse. Compare it with a Game Worn Jersey (aka - the real thing).
My Icejerseys.com ordered custom jersey (Payton #81) isn't perfect. No nameplate (which irked me a little bit because the site specifically says they will use a nameplate if the team does) - and the Avs clearly do. (I believe this is in part that I ordered a Small jersey, so it had to be scaled down to fit.)
But very happy that the number font is actually correct. Very often, Avs numbers will be sort of squished (like on my "authentic" 3rd jersey - ordered on NHL.com pre lockout). Even the Altitude Authentics store can't get them right.
And if you didn't already know, it’s been widely reported that the Avs will sport a 3rd jersey next year. Will we see a (slightly modified) version of the previous third? Or something new? I'd love to see a Nordiques throwback.
