Jose actually stops a puck in tonight's loss to the Rangers. Things are a mess for the Avs right now, but thank god FG didn’t overpay

Theodore was clearly the difference in the Capitals 4-3 loss to New York in Game 1 of the series. Theo picked right up where he left off last year against Detroit, unconfident and shaky. He gave up 4 goals on 21 shots. That’s a .810 save percentage. He could see all the shots the he gave up. No screens, no tips. Washington lost despite outshooting New York 35-21.
