Chris (“playoff clutch“) Drury scored (yet another) game winner in the playoffs, helping the Rangers beat Washington 2-1 on Wednesday night. The Rangers now have a commanding 3-1 series lead. Sure, it wasn’t an OT winner and Washington goalie Simeon Varlamov horribly flubbed the puck, but the Rangers captain was in the right place at the right time and buried his chance. Former Avs disappointment, I mean defenseman Derek Morris assisted on the goal. Theo watched from the bench. Drury was also picked to be the game’s 3rd star. Highlights.
